We are looking to open the door for applications for the 2018 Jerald Bridgman Education Fund grants on March 1st. Applications will need to be back in our hands by March 31st.
We will once again be looking for innovative ideas related to food education in the Pikes Peak Region that match the Slow Food objectives of good, clean, and fair food for all. These grants (up to $1000) are intended to support educational initiatives to encourage public awareness of food traditions, stewardship of the environment, and responsible care, harvesting, and consumption of plants and animals in the Pikes Peak region.
If you, or someone you know, might be interested, please let them know that these grants will be coming soon and we encourage submissions from our whole community. Applications are welcomed from our region (Douglas, El Paso, Fremont, Pueblo, and Teller counties).
