We also wish to let our members know about a Colorado College event being held from 4:00 to 6 PM on Friday, September 25, 2015, at the Russell T. Tutt Science Lecture Hall (Room 122).
William Powers, author of “green living” bestseller “Twelve by Twelve”, will read from his new book, “New Slow City: Living Simply in the World’s Fastest City” followed by a discussion and book signing. A light, “rescued” dinner will be served afterwards. The event is free and open to the public.
Come join us at the Colorado Farm and Art Market Fall Fundraiser at 3:30 PM on Sunday, September 27, 2015 at the Margarita at Pine Creek. Slow Food Colorado Springs will be helping to sponsor this event, which will be a Colorado Wine Tasting with the wonderful chefs at The Margarita preparing hors d’oeuvres from fresh, local food provided by our local CFAM vendors and farmers. Come support the Colorado Farm and Art Market, and Slow Food Colorado Springs, while you mingle with your friends and enjoy local food and drink. Prices are $65.00 per person (in advance), $55.00 for for Slow Food members. For more information or to purchase tickets, please go to the CFAM website.
